It was June 6,2011 when I first met my new classmates for my fourth year in high school. I was so shocked because I was one of those people who belong to the "honor's section". I even told my mom "brayt diay ko ma?wala man jud ko nakasulay na mahonor pero ngano nakasulod man ko diri na section?" I wasn't really expecting that I would be in this class.
On the first day of class I felt like I was out of place. I know these faces, and these are the outstanding students of my batch,I really don't feel like I deserve to be here. But as the days went by, I realized that I deserve to be here,I deserve to be surrounded with great people just like these guys. I was also thinking that this class would be so boring because all of the smart people are in this section and there are no "bugoys" in this section. But I was wrong for the second time around. The whole year was great. It was great because every single day in class was exciting. You'll never know that the next day,the classroom would be transformed into a theater with almost real life nipa huts and realistic description of hell, purgatory and heaven or the next day our classroom would be visited by a celebrity just like Boy Banat or a news anchor from the infamous news program called "Balitang News" or even Rihanna could fly all the way from the States just to make our lesson more understandable or enjoyable.
Indeed it was a great year. I also had my firsts because of these guys. It was my first time to play for a basketball team and win a game. It was my first time to manage a unit and win the overall championship. It was my first time to fulfill one of my dreams of becoming a director of a play(it was stressful but F to the U to the N fun!) and for these things I want to thank these guys for being a part of each one of these firsts.
Well, tomorrow is the big day. The day that we've all been waiting for. To get out of the horrible school that we've been to for last 12 years. Well I was just kidding. It's the day for us to get something that we deserve and had been working for for the last years. This maybe goodbye my dear friends. But we will always meet again.
